About Our Web Site

Coding, Standards, and Compatibility

All HTML, CSS, and PHP code on this site is hand coded by Tim Snoots using a text editor. My code complies with the HTML 4.01 "Strict" DTD, all formatting and layout are through CSS. The HTML and CSS on this site's pages can be W3C validated using the links at the bottom of each page. All scripting is server-side using LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) web development technologies. Therefore, this site should load fast, look great, and have a stable, consistent appearance in nearly any modern, standards-compliant web browser on any computer platform. This appearance of this site has been tested with current versions of the Safari, Firefox, Opera, Amaya, Lynx, Konqueror, and Internet Explorer 7 web browsers on Mac, PC, and Linux platforms. Note that this site is not fully visually compatable with versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer prior to version 7 due to that browsers lack of correct web standards support. Some of the forms and documents on this site are available in the Acrobat .PDF format for output consistency.
